Green Rights Organization for the World invites you to learn how you can make a difference, protect the environment and defend our environmental rights.

Directed by Gianna Morin ’26, The Skriker is a dark, surreal tale of myth and modernity, blending folklore and reality. Following a shape-shifting faerie’s pursuit of two vulnerable young women, the play explores madness, desire, and devastation with lyrical, fragmented language and haunting imagery. It’s a fierce, unsettling journey through love and destruction.

The Humanities are often described as being “in crisis,” either dismissed as outdated and irrelevant, or accused of being dangerously influential, promoting so-called “subversive” ideas. Come and join faculty from across the Humanities: Danielle Dorvil (Spanish), Matthew Ellis (History), Sarah Hamill (Art History), and Joel Swanson (Religion), moderated by Jerri Dodds (Art History) as they reflect on the stakes of this moment. Why do the Humanities matter now? And what power might they hold in shaping the world to come?

Join us for a special reception hosted by the Parents Council, Sarah Lawrence’s family philanthropy group. Connect and network with fellow parents and family members over beverages and hors d’oeuvres while learning about the Parents Council. Wine and beer will be served.
